Rustic dark chocolate, dried cherry, and marzipan with a creamy mouthfeel and accents of tamarind and roasted peanut are the hallmarks of this coffee. Recommended roast ranges from medium to dark — excellent for espresso. The dry fragrance carries savory-sweet notes of chocolate-sesame halva and toffee-coated peanut, with hints of molasses and subtle fruit. The wet aroma pulls at bittersweet cocoa powder and roasted cacao nibs. At a medium roast the cup offers generous roast intensity over heavy body, with interesting fruit tones and mild acidity — an almond-croissant profile of marzipan and cocoa, slivered almonds, and a hint of dried cherry. Rustic dark chocolate gains momentum in the cooling cup alongside fermented fruit, dried tamarind, and roasted peanut. Taken darker, it turns bittersweet and creamy — well suited to milk drinks.
